Brecon Town FC loses close match to  Ann Arbor Pioneer, 2-1

The Brecon Town Football Club lost a close 2-1 match to a good Ann Arbor Pioneer squad on Tuesday July 8, 2003 at Wide World of Sport in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Pioneer scored midway through the first half and took their 1-0 lead into half time. Brecon tied the score when Ceri Bowley drove home a sure penalty kick early in the second half. Late in the game, however, Pioneer was awarded a penalty kick and made it good to get the victory.
