More Young People Get Involved

1987-1991

In 1988, the Saline Big Band returned to perform at the Brecon Jazz Festival, along with many Saline family friends. The band and choir visits had resulted in many personal friendships and several Brecon youth visited Saline families in 1989.

About the 1990 Marching Band Tour

During November of 1990, the Saline High School Marching Band returned to Brecon to perform and see their sister city. Thanksgiving Day morning the tears left behind could have filled a swimming pool.
