The Musical Relationship Spreads

The Big Band visit had planted the seeds for exchanges between school music groups. On April 13, 1985 the Brecon High School Choir came to Saline for a week's of performing and visiting. They have the voices of angels and so many Saline families enjoyed their young guests until the tearful goodbyes on April 19th as they packed and headed to Toronto.

The following year, the Saline High School Marching Band took their first trip to Brecon. It was the first exposure for many in Brecon to a high school marching band. The Saline students felt that they were treated like celebrities. Memories for these high school students will never be forgotten and for some, Brecon still lives in their hearts today.
