Arrival and Welcome

The boys arrived in Detroit via Washington, D.C. and were welcomed at the airport by their host families


After a few hours rest, they had walking tour of the town and were welcomed by Mayor Driskell at City Hall.


A welcome party at the Barnes' home that evening featured a game of "soccer volleyball" a dip in the pool and some good "getting to know you" times
